This magnificent bird was first reported on the 12th January 2007.

On Sunday the 14th it was flushed by over enthusiastic people looking to get a close view and collided with power cables, its injuries were said to be extensive and it was not expected to survive.

News Update:

The RSPCA had to put the stork down as it's injuries were too extensive.

Information cannot be found as to the person or persons that ringed the bird, which is a shame as it would be good to find out where the bird originated from.
